I'm not sure why ppl are getting so worked up over this. LRA is a good fighter but please let's stop acting like he's any better than the other title holders around 147-154. If u wanna argue Floyd should fight Lara, u could easily make a case that both Molina and Garcia deserve the fight a lot more. Lars looked good in a few fights but he's also looked like complete crap at times. He's no more deserving than the rest of the bunch. And no I don't mean khan. That name should even be struck from the convo. Now if Floyd actually fought Lara the good. But that's far from a must see fight rite now. There's only 2 of those for Floyd and those can't happen. If Lara is his best option, which he is absolutely not, then that would be different.

Nah. I'm referring to Khan. There should only be 4 potential opponents and they are Pac, Bradley, Lara and Molina. Garcia too but he don't want it. But because Khan has a fanbase (which I have yet to see in the U.S.) they bend the rules for him and we will get a PPV mismatch.

It should happen but Lara is not a De La Hoya, Cotto or Alvarez type fighter. Why would Floyd move back up to a weight class he's too small for? It's a fight that SHOULD happen but where does it stop? After he makes Lara look a fool everyone will cry that he didn't beat anyone and it was a cherry pick and then question why Floyd can't move up again to fight GGG or Martinez or move up even higher to fight Ward?

Floyd can stay at 147 where gives better performances due to being at a weight class that he actually belongs in.

If Lara was smart he would attempt to make a name. Call out everyone. Move down in weight. Get in the media. If he makes a name or at least moves down to WW it could be very possible to land the fight. Anything is better than Khan's euro bum a$$.

The fight to see is Lara vs. Canelo!! Lara has been chasing Canelo for a few years now. I know Canelo's not afraid. Schaefer just needs to make it happen.

Lara is a worthy challenger to Floyd. Stylistically, he poses some problems that Floyd would have to overcome. Lara has longer reach and he's a slick southpaw. Let's be real though this fight isn't happening. I would like to see it though. It would be funny to hear what people would say after Floyd schools him. There are a few things Lara is missing that would lead to him losing the fight imo.

Lara is not so creative and doesn't display much disposition for ambush fighting.

Lara needs to fight Canelo, and then if he beats Canelo then yeah, the fight would be more realistic. Right now it would do pathetic #'s on PPV, just about Pac-Rios kind of numbers. Showtime literally can't afford such a flop for a Floyd fight, since each of his guarantee is worth $30-40mill. Lara would have to fight for $15 dollars and there will be no undercard to pay anyone else unless some fighters offer themselves up for free. That is the situation you're looking at here.
