The only opponent that's worthy right now is Lara but unfortunately that PPV would only do like 500k. Lara would have to beat down gingerboi to become an attraction. But by then Mayweather might have more options and would avoid Lara.

Floyd doesn't fight slick fighters. Just sayin. Besides that, I'm not overly impressed with Lara anyhow. His speed (hand speed mostly and upper body movement at times) is very average to me (yeah I said it, watch the film) and his legs looked shaky yesterday as well. In any case Floyd wouldn't bother with that kind of style. That being said, I would support this fight and I do like some of the physical qualities of Lara - his reach is almost as long as Floyd's, being a tall southpaw is also a new look and I would like to see Floyd against a fellow "slickster."

lol I don't know what to believe in boxing sometimes, but Floyd's arms look long to me. whether it's 72 or less/more (not that I much care for measuring the chest), 26 inches from armpit to end of hand is impressive.

The problem is Lara would never ever have a chance to fight Mayweather, whilst he is a good fight he doesn't fit the sort of profile that would help sell a Mayweather fight, Showtime and Mayweather are looking at making money.

It's because idiots keep asking for the same type of fighter.. We need another technician in there with him and Lara is bigger. He also have a great straight left, if no one wants to see this fight then its not happening and it's ashame because Lara have the greatest chance.
