I think Lara should fight Alvarez first, if he wins then he gets Mayweather. From a business and skillset standpoint it makes sense.

He beat Trout who was a top 3 contender secondly. Which is exactly what Canelo did. And he beat him worse and more convincingly at that.


He's a world champion, just like Ortiz and Cotto were. And he now has a better resume at 154 than both Cotto and Canelo.

Don't act like he isn't qualified cause that's total bull****. The only thing you got is popularity which I can buy.

Floyd is the best and my favorite fighter but these so called fans of his is really scared for Floyd to have competition. Aren't people tired of Floyd not showcasing all of his skills?

For the sake of the discussion I'll answer this(obvious)question..Yes I believe Lara to be a threat..I also consider him a bigger threat then Alvarez..Before we go on the whole I just wanna hate Mayweather B.S.I not only called Mayweather would fight Alvarez..I also said how he would beat Alvarez(which happen pretty much how I thought it would)and gave Floyd full credit for beating a fighter the whole world said he would not fight..It was a great win for Floyd and he get's full credit from me on the victory..

The truth is tho,Floyd is still fighting,so yes I'd love to see Floyd fight Lara next..Lara is deserving of the shot..Lara has a better resume then Alvarez,I don't care how many D fighters Alvarez has been in with,that does not mean he was/is more ready then Lara to fight Mayweather..I would not mind if Mayweather fought Bradley Garcia or Pac,but then let the ring belt go and let Lara and Alvarez fight for it..So the ring Champion can be a fighter who actually plans on fighting at the weight..
