Lara deserves the shot, if Mayweather goes back to 154lbs then he should get consideration. The problem is how would you promote the fight? Lara isn't hyped and he doesn't speak English..............

I think Floyd would use his jab better against Lara. It would help set up his right hand which, as you stated, would be his predominant weapon. I would imagine Floyd vs Lara would be similar to Floyd /Judah in some ways. Floyd would have to get inside and hit the body like he did in the Judah fight. As we all know, Lara's inside game is lacking. I think the subtle ways Floyd uses his jab goes unnoticed because of how effective the right hand is.

But just like Rigo, guys just don't go in on him, because of his power, counter shots.

I don't think even Floyd just goes in on him like that, and if he pressures like he did against Canelo, he's in for a world of hurt.

I think Floyd has a good jab, but not a busy jab. His best jab is the one to the body, and I think Lara can catch him off the top of that jab. Lara's not Ortiz or Canelo.
