Brutal ending. Tapia isn't going to have a long and productive career fighting like he did and he's only 23. He's really not going to get anywhere on the elite level and should really rethink his career choice. He reminds me a bit of Peter Manfredo on how he looks and the punishment he takes and you saw how that career ended. Better to leave sooner than later when it comes to boxing.

Why doesn't Kirkland bob and weave in there? I don't understand. At least move your upper torso around. He's going to get knocked out again soon. I love the fact that this guy is relevant again though because he's fun to watch.

He also gets rocked easily. I can't believe Ishida was able to drop him so many times. Imagine what a real puncher would do. During the Tapia fight it looked like Kirkland was hurt in a few places and had Tapia had a bit of speed and follow through in his punches then maybe he could finish him.

LMAO!!! I'm laughing at all the people who think he is ready for Canelo or Lara! Wait...let me laugh a little longer....hold on.....ok I'm good. A good boxer with movement and defense will knock this fool out. I mean if Molina did him in imagine what Lara would do to this dude. Some of you really need to re-check your boxing knowledge because it's leaving a lot to be desired. But don't worry this train will be stopped sooner than most of you think.

Agreed, he has a very stiff upper body...always walking in straight lines, I'm a huge fan of James but somebody with pop on world level is going to stop him early if he doesn't start bob & weaving.

Kirkland is this generation's Frank "The Animal" Fletcher. Fun to watch, but he's gonna have some problems down the road. I mean, he's had problems already, but I'm afraid its gonna end real sad for him.

Is it possible for Kirkland to drop down to WW? Imagine Mandingo vs Provo
