That's what Pac got from fighting twice as much... hehe...
Manny fought 17 fights for the last seven years.
Floyd fought 10 for the same number of years.
Floyd only have three more fights left before retiring.
No way Pac could overtake Floyd's vacationing style
and wait for him to drop his stock. No way.
That's what's all about. Wait for your rival to lose
momentum and go for the kill.

when does manny make 6 million, he got 30 mil for the rios fight and it was a flop,,,

Floyd does need to do 1.2 mil plus every fight to live up to his 32 mil guarantee every fight that showtime has him signed to,,, eventually they will want a return on investment and that only happens when floyd fights a canelo or manny...

Showtime will make no money with floyd fighting the likes of khan, ghost, garcia, broner, etc those fights can happen inbetween floyd's mega fights which are canelo, which floyd already did, or manny

To say he doesnt need to break 2 mil is laughable,,,,, who the hell doesnt want to make the most lucrative fight ever and one that would break all records in boxing and all of sports,,,
floyd would make 100-125 million for this one fight, yet you would be content not to fight manny because he may make 35-50 million,,,
So you would be probably the worst boxing manager ever to keep floyd fighting twice vs khan and garcia and make a total of 75 mil instead of one fight vs manny that would make floyd 100 million plus in one night,,,

Who told you he made $30m for Rios, Arum? Please. I don't believe that man's fairy tales. Just like he tells you about Manny's guarantee always being $20m but when he files it with the NSAC the highest was like $8m. Not buying.

that may be true, but that doesnt change the fact that it would do huge ppv numbers on par with floyd fighting khan, ghost, danny,,and manny would still get 30 million plus for the rematches with tim and jmm

so dont act like manny gets 6 mil paydays, and cant break 500k when he can, that just makes you look nonsensical

Only thing nonsensical is pretending Manny deserves $30m based off nothing concrete. His last fight did less than 500K. Were you expecting that? His #'s became so bad that his promoter refused to release them. So you really don't know what Manny is worth, do you?

BoxingScene.com: What is holding this fight back?

In my opinion, the main obstacle on why, and this is solely my opinion, is why [Bob Arum] hasn't made the fight, is because this would the first time where Manny Pacquiao was able to see what's in the pot of money. And for all of the other pay-per-view fights that he's fought, obviously he would see and obviously he would know that Floyd makes tens of millions of dollars more than he does and he would look at that, in my opinion, and say 'I've been underpaid.' See, because the books would be open. That's my opinion.

Top Rank, in my opinion, want to make their fights internally because they want to control both sides of the promotion. They want to keep the money in their house. That way, the revenue that's in place, they control the revenue. They pay the fighters what they want to pay them, in my opinion. Nobody is looking at their books and challenging what's what.

how arum and manny split the money is their business, if manny gets ripped off and arum pockets the money, it doesnt change the fact that a huge amount of money was generated, if you dont think floyd-manny generates huge business than there is nothing i can say,,,

let me ask you this,,, what is the biggest fight in boxing that can be made right now????????

When I see topics like this I start to realise how deluded people are with regards to how the world works. ''Who else are you going to make those numbers with''- that mentality has more than likely resulted in so much buried talent whilst the Bieber's and Rihanna's of the industry pollute the air ways.

The focus is placed on your bargaining position. If you can bring a guy 10 million, but only he can make you 10 million, he is offering you 1 million. You want to get closer to that 10 million? Start proving that you can make close to that amount without the person you're looking to do business with.

You're missing the point. It's not about what is the biggest fight - it's about who is getting paid what for the biggest fight. This is getting too repetitive.
