  • Amir Khan's Resume- Is it good enough for him to fight Mayweather?

I don't think it is. He is glass jawed and he has not beat quality opponents. The quality opponents he has faced, he either lost to or looked bad against. He has been beating journeyman. Plus in has last fight against Diaz he looked bad. So my final answer is no.

his resume is good, better than The Ghost and Canelos

Khan suffered a huge set back after the Garcia loss, had he won that fight he was heading for the May fight 100%

    however he lost,

Garcia should be fighting Floyd next, but he said he doesn't want to fight him just yet, so Khan deserves it imo

    Haters can go cry somewhere

    Khan will win via SD

He has some decent wins But his last two fights were against average opposition and he didn't look great either. Had he fought and beat Alexander you could try to make a case for him but coming off a close victory over Diaz I don't see how you can say he deserves it.

His resume isn't too bad. He has wins over 2 current top 10 welterweights in Malignaggi and Maidana. Judah and Kotelnik were solid wins too.

His resume is better than Canelo, Guerrero and Ortiz.

He's got a decent resume but the fact is since getting emphatically stopped by Danny Garcia he's had 2 fights against unranked Molina and Diaz, the latter in which he struggled.

Simply not good enough for a fight against the P4P King.

This will be the first time Mayweather has fought someone who's not ranked in the Top 5 of the divison being fought in since Marquez.

Regardless the fight shouldn't happen simply because he hasn't demonstrated he can beat a world Class fighter. The guys on his resume aren't currently world class either and him being smacked around silly on his rubber neck doesn't help at all. Say what you want abt how he deserves the fight more then those other guys but in reality all those other guys beat him with ease. Again, when you prove you have a rubber neck over and over the public has no interest. Easy KO for Mayweather esp since he hasn't had one in years.

His resume ain't too bad. But he hasn't done anything since Lamont Peterson, so it doesn't matter how many solid fighters he beat from 2009-2011.
