Glorified ass whooping. Was never meant to be a PPV success.
I don't get your logic on this one.

Was it meant to be a PPV failure then?

And no publicity? How about the 7 city media tour? and the episodes of 24/7 on top?

[QUOTE=Johnwoo8686;13995992] "It's funny how Mayweather Guerrero actually sold more than Bradley-Marquez and Pacquiao-Rios combined!"
"I think the Mayweather Pacquiao is going to happen now."

Most likely because people believed that The Ghost had a shot and yes i too think that the Mayweather vs Pac fight will be made.

Oh and we all know Canelo and his fan base is what brought those numbers in his latest fight, just like DLH did.
floyd guerrero more then doubled manny rios and that was not from guerrero fans all 3 of em

As a Manny fan I kinda feared this might be the case.

His PPV numbers have been dwindling for a while now and this had zero ingredients for success. Horrid undercard. Overmatched opponent with a lack of a fan base. Fight location (I know some of you disagree that it had any effect). Pac coming off a brutal KO and then a loss before that, even if it was controversial. It was a virtual tuneup fight for 70 bucks.

I wonder, outside of a Floyd/Manny fight -- is this the end of Manny Pacquiao on PPV? Will HBO risk another PPV with him? I'm guessing Pac/Bradley could do some decent numbers, but outside of that it doesn't look good.

Pac is getting pretty old, the marquez ko really hurt financially, he couldn't finish rios off, plenty of issues for the fighter of the decade.
Pacquiao needs to leave tr, because no one wants these ****** rematches, including pac fans like myself.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley doesn't do much better imo, casuals have to still be pissed about the first fight and Bradley couldn't draw flies in a shit factory.
