Why not? He still gets paid. The Top Rank logo will appear everywhere the promotion goes. And most importantly, his fighter will get the fight he supposedly wants the most. The only thing that won't happen is that Arum won't be out front, giving interviews and leading press tours. But at the day, its about doing what's in the best interests of the fighter. Not stroke the promoter's ego.

Yeah, he brings up the fight with Canelo cuz he had so much help in selling that ppv. Canelo and the Garcia vs Matthysse fight made those numbers. The RG ppv did 800k let's not forget that.
