It's not a myth dumbo articles are everywhere about Gbp's small margin caught up with them in the Guerrero and Canelo fight. Too much advertising and purse split with a lot of under cards, Mayweather resulting to little to break even in profit.

this is all true but u have to realize even if showtime breaks even with floyd it will still make them a **** ton of money. Since mayweather got to showtime their ratings have been going up and up and up. Not to mention mayweather will still have 1 or 2 blockbuster fights no doubt about it

Schaefer needs to be careful in negotiating a fight without Floyd's consent. This happened in the second negotiation when Haymon and Arum were finalizing the fight with Ross Greenburg's supervision. What did Floyd do? He ran away and spent two weeks with Don King.
