As of September 2012 the numbers (CONFIRMED! By Grantland) stand as follows for each mans last 6 fights.

Mayweather : 1.17 million ppv sales per bout average
Pacquaio : 1.06 million ppv sales per bout average

Please explain to me how 110,000k extra buys alone make you an A-Side..or for that matter how the last three fights all undersold to one of Floyd's. People will eat up asinine comments from GBP like it's the holy grail. Just say neither side wants to make the fight but skip all the bullshhh demands and excuses.

      False.

None of Pacquiao's recent fights have had their PPV results released by the network.

schaefer said they're using arum's blueprint...the same blueprint that he rejected for donaire-mares

        the fight will never happen

sadly, floyd-pac will end up in boxing's history as just a negotiation fight...so far they already had a trilogy in negotiations

On a side note, I thought Floyd was his own boss? Getting mixed signals here
GBP runs his show but he gets his own money and pays fee to them for doing it for him. Thats well known.

Boxing politics is a joke but oh well its not like it just appeared or appeared with manny and floyd

He got everything he wanted but wouldn't take the test
50/50 split even though at the time if you looked at there common opponents Floyd sold more PPV

You do realize the network isn't the only body on earth with ppv numbers right...right? You do realize everything transmitted over american airwaves has an oversight right? It's called the FCC which a cut of your ppv payment goes directly to. So yeah those numbers are pretty damned accurate, think not..Go to Grantland and tell them that so they can school you and turn you into an article while they are at it.

So why is Schaefer concerned at all? I really don't understand. Surely Floyd picks whoever he wants, Schaefer intervening like this makes it look like Floyd is just another stable member.

Schaefer needs to be careful in negotiating a fight without Floyd's consent. This happened in the second negotiation when Haymon and Arum were finalizing the fight with Ross Greenburg's supervision. What did Floyd do? He ran away and spent two weeks with Don King.

Same thing happened to 50 cent. Anything about Pac scares the hell out of Floyd.

The Racket Squad: Floyd Stinks Out The Joint and His Legacy

                    And there it is.
                    Back to square one.
He diverted our attention with Alvarez but now the well is dry.
                    Khan? Please. No comment.
Garcia? Zab almost rocked the sport in the late stanzas of that contest.
All the remaining cats are about as solid as Guerrero and he folded early without going down.
Who the hell is going to pay those Showtime bills while Floyd attempts to keep his zero in tact?

                    All roads lead to Manny.
You think he juiced? Prove it.
You think he lost to Bradley?
He got caught being too aggressively casual in the 4th Marquez duel.
It happens if you elect to fight.

Until 'Money' gives a genuine legend a chance at bat, this 5 decade fan and friend of the sweet science will not give Floyd Mayweather another dime.

You don't have to like Manny Pacquiao to support his right to get another shot at the throne.
It's just good freakin' will and even better business in a racket being held hostage by one "money" man.

This late innings version of Pac can still harm Mayweather in a physical debate in any Country on the map.
That's the way this sport can go and Floyd Mayweather knows it all too well.

Cause Floyd will not work with Arum do you really think he will let Arum run the show? Also GBP backing up their main client. Its business

I said when Arum said this that the Champ doesnt chase the challenger and thats what Richard made clear. It was an arrogant move
