Son..you've been in here making excuses for GBP since last night...with the the infinite excuses. The fact remains this is the biggest fight on earth in all of man kinds history even if you tried you couldn't mess this fight up and the money..that's going to take care of itself..so since you say business is first...well I just made business first..now what's the excuse? -Pacquiaos contract is running out with Top Rank, so theres hope Bob Arum will cash him out before 2014 ends! (biggest idiot in world if he resigns=dead fight)
-Pacquiao too is running out of opponents at Top Rank, and his last fight did only 500,000 maybe less. He's getting his name back in the top again with that last win aka media coverage but he needs the may fight and needs to take a stand (but as usual wont)

As annoying as Schaefer is, he completely owned Arum there. Not that it means much - Bob doesn't take anything on board, and nor is there enough impartiality, intelligence and clout from boxing writers to actually create a legitimate discussion out of the points he is making.

Saying that, using Arum's own Donaire-Mares template against him was just perfect from Schaefer.

The simple fact is, Arum never wanted this fight. Neither did Floyd but at least he has moved on and isn't pretending he wants it. Arum has spent years trying to destroy GBP and refusing to work with them - but now is telling everyone that GBP should come to the table to discuss?

You mayyyyy want to take a second and do some reading up on Richard buddy...Schaeffer is the younger more vocal version of Arum...in fact i'll say when it's said and done at the end of his career/life most of us will wish we had been dealing with arum instead.
