Richard is spot on here. GBP and Mayweather want nothing to do with Arum.

Now Richard did say Mayweather wouldn't deal with Todd either, which was a surprise to me....
So what if Pacman didn't mention Floyd's name after his fight? Is that how you call people out now? Lol. Funny thing was when Floyd told pacquiao he's next and never happened. I thought he's the boss and can get any fights he want. Floyd is scared of pacman and he knows that!!! This would be the biggest ppv sale ever and he's not going to take it?? He's all about the money right? Again excuses after another!

Well except about the TMT gear selling.

But the dude is right. Mayweather is the A side of the equation.
Pacquiao's PPV numbers have been going down.
Top Rank has put out ****ty undercards,
and the business of boxing will always do better in the US.

I particularly liked how he called out Arum on his bull**** about wanting the fight, saying if he wanted the fight so bad, why is it he already has a date venue and 3 opponents (none named Mayweather) lined up for Pacquiao?
      This. Good post.

What excuses? All Schaefer said is they're willing to pay Arum to stay away. How is that an excuse please tell?

It's like deja vu all over again.

The bottom line is this..........if Manny Pacquiao wants to make his biggest pay day ever then he needs to order Bob to step aside so that they can make the fight.

          Those are the terms.
If team Pacquiao is too proud to take the offer from team Mayweather then.........don't take it . Pacquiao should go on with his career and keep making what he is making.

Floyd doesn't need Pacquiao. He is guaranteed 32 million minimum a fight (4 more fights).

Why in the hell does he have to call Bob?
The dude just made 80-100 million while Pac is fighting tax problems.
          It's a complete joke.
They don't need each other for sure but these two are the best in our era. I'd like to see this fight to happen! Floyd will definitely make more out of this fight and it will be both fighters biggest earning ever! But with all the excuses Floyd brings out to the table is definitely signs of being afraid. He don't want to lose that undefeated record. It's never been about the money the blood test, 40 mil offer, fighting for tmt and among others are just roadblocks knowing that pack an would say no to any of those demands.

And ironically, Ariza was a well liked member of Team Pacquiao before he came out and put them on blast for bull****in' the public for years and never really wanted the Floyd fight. At that point, he became a cancer.

You forgot the excuses Floyd used of having a cut, needing to build a stadium, not sure if Pac is gonna be in jail....ahhh, hold on. I think I'm a lil confused here.

arum had said those things. the same arum that said that floyd is the greatest of all time. arums statements is as reliable as floyd's. how about a statement from manny. or better lets forget all statements, lets just rely on action done by both camps. manny has sent koncz to mayweathers gym.

Because they think that by admitting that it's Arum who doesn't want the fight it automatically means Pacquiao doesn't want the fight.

Sad thing is I and many others here actually believe that Pacquiao wants the fight, but know it's Arum who doesn't.

I refer you to this interview with Ellerbe written almost two years ago. In it he states perfectly why it is ARUM who doesn't want the fight. That Arum doesn't want Pacquiao looking at the books and seeing how much more money Mayweather makes than him because then Pacquiao will realize how much uncle Bob has been screwing him over the years.

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions and adviser to WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., spoke to BoxingScene.com about the possibility of fighting Manny Pacquiao on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The two sides are stuck at one issue, or so it appears, the date. Mayweather is legally and contractually obligated to fight on May 5th, while Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, would like the fight to take place in late-May.
