You don't know Arum do you?? Arum will ride this out till the end until HBO refuses to put Manny on PPV anymore due to much lower numbers, and then he will work with Mayweather.

Obviously, Arum didn't rely on PPV sales to get paid for the fight. The Macau investors paid for the whole event. It's a gamble on the investors' part. If they did, they probably only need 100K to break even. Therein lies the difference between these promoters and networks. Showtime had to come up with 1M PPV to break even. That's why the PPV number is meaningless if the bottom line is a negative. Look at the Guerrero debacle.

                This..............

No Manny PPV's no unwarranted 15 million plus guaranteed demands. Arum is trying to run Manny and HBO to the ground.

Hopefully HBO take charge and put a end to this, HBO already looked like fools in this fiasco siding with Arum and his 6 fighter stable

You guys are desperate now, having to resort to making up nonsense and pulling numbers out of your ass.

Silly thing is do they not understand what and how a investment works, so what if they lost millions on Guerrero, how many 10's of millions they made with the record breaking Canelo match

Numbers are meaningless if the bottom line is a negative. Arum spends $10 to make $100. Schaefer spends $100 to make $3. This is fact. $40 million for Mayweather, $10 million or more for Canelo, another several millions for undercards, the tour cost couple of millions, even the weigh in was held in grand fashion, Access is produced by amateurs, man they're spending more than they make. Did you see any of that in Pacquiao fights?

Arum is a pro. He has connections. He operates on I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine principle. Schaefer's every move, otoh, cost millions. This is basic.
