Macklin, ranked the best of all of GGG's wins in 2013, but lasted the least, proving that the better the opponent, the better Golovkin would fight.
Quit with the hatred, all you Ward and Martinez fans looking silly while Golovkin knocking dudes silly.
Or is even that tiny level of self-awareness beyond you?

He needs to move up to HW and prove he's a warrior against Tyson Fury.

Back in the day after his first fight with Pac, JMM went and fought Chris John in Indonesa, off premium TV. That's not an excuse. GGG hasn't had what I'd classify as a real fight since Macklin. So the notion that he's "staying active" between big fights is bull****t. Stevens was a stay busy fight. He claims he'll fight anyone between 154 and 168. I pretty that at least one of the 30 fighters rated in the top 10 in one of those divisions would have fought him.

Andre Ward should feel free to take easy fights in Oakland from now on, any time he wants. As long as they aren't on HBO it will be ok and he won't get any flack for it according to the posters here.
