You mentioned Broner. For what? Cause he beat Maidana?
Alexander and Khan did too. So what?
And Khan whopped Paulie worse than Broner did.Comment

Ionno. To do what past greats have done, and not bastardize this sport. Why should Floyd risk his health, his unbeaten record and his legacy by fighting Pacquiao, especially when he can make $40 million dollars by fighting the likes of Guerrero and fighters like Alexander.
It doesn't make sense.
Floyd has all his faculties in tact he wants to walk away from boxing like that and with a lot of money, and he will do just that.
What good reason is there for Floyd to take on a risk such as Pacquiao?Comment

Maybe but if he wants to go down as one of the best ever he needs to beat Manny - that is a fact. no all time greats ever avoided their top challenger. Leonard fought Hearns. Whitaker fought Chavez jr., Ali fought Frazier (3x) but May wont fight PacComment

Then do what I'm a do. Don't order the fight. Problem solved.I have ZERO interest in Floyd-Khan and won't be ordering it. That said, Floyd just fought in arguably the biggest fight in boxing history and against a guy seen as a legitimate threat. As I stated before. Every fight isn't gonna be a superfight. So I'm not going ape**** about Fgloyd fighting a lesser opponent. Ward just fought Rodriguez. Pac just fought Rios. Its not against the rules to take a tune-up/stay busy fight between the big ones. And the beauty of being a fan is that if I'm not interested, I don't have to buy it. I don't see what's the big deal if it is Khan.Comment

In what country or planet does Maidana become the most marketable Floyd opponent for KOing the barely known Broner?
Those hits you see on WSHH are paid for. If ya haven't figured out.Comment

Not my career but he will go down as one of best ever.Comment

It is going to be Khan no doubt but that is just one fight it will probably be entertaining, not meaningful at all but it will probably be fun to watch.
It is not worth any thought or effort though it would just be mindless entertainment really, like a simple action movie where you know who will win no matter the odds.
Floyd is not fighting a Top Rank guy just isn't going to happen, if they couldn't make it work for all that money they can't make it work now. GBP has guys but Garcia is the best one and he is not pressing for that fight right now plus it is probably better down the road. The rest of the options throw them in a bag and pull one out because they would all be about the same to the general public a guy with a glossy record who will somewhat look the part that any real boxing fan knows won't have a shot in hell of pulling the upset.
The only difference with Khan being he brings in a bit more from some overseas sources and is possibly a bit better known being featured more but likely anyone having seen those knows Khan's deal.Comment
