Even though it shouldn't. It still somewha amazes me that GBP and TR being unwilling to work together becomes a foreign concept to fight fans, only when it comes to Floyd-Pac. Ironically, most if not all of those who forget about the beef are fanatical Pac stans/Floyd haters.

No, he tried to out posture Manny at the negotiation tables when Manny was at his peak.
He turned down 50-50 and additional blood testing in late 09, both of which were absolutely reasonable.

      People seem to forget that.

          You're being facetious.

Floyd tried to out posture Manny with the cutoff dates. Manny's team didn't want to be dictated to like they were the b side.

At the time, they were both a sides.

Do I need to refresh your memory?

I personally am not interested until I see that.
I'd rather see it than Khan, that's for sure.

Whether Arum and Top Rank really want it is questionable but they seem to be saying the right things in the media. Mayweather is just dismissing it out of hand. It's still his biggest payday and one of his toughest fights.

Nah. Manny was dictating as well. And Floyd agreed. Manny didn't.

Basically all your telling me is that Manny walked away from a perfectly good deal. I agree.

Read my response to Larry. That should clarify things, in case you have a foggy memory.

Khan will have been out of the ring for over a year after a terrible performance against Diaz. He hasn't had anything to prepare him for this. I think with more experience and confidence, he could give Mayweather a run for his money

It just seems like just a cash grab now and you can't really blame him for taking it.

Mayweather deserves every last bit of ridicule he gets for taking this fight if it comes off.
Khan is a **** fight and I won't buy it but when you look at the realistic alternatives its the only one that makes sense.

People say Maidana deserves the fight if he beats Broner but Khan beat Maidana. So did Alexander. Khan beat Judah and Malignaggi who will also be top 10 we contenders next week.

Welterweight is just an unsettled division right now without a true #1 contender at the moment.
