What I don't understand is how people forget that first negotiation and how it played out.

I mean, Pacquaio walked away from an absolutely reasonable offer.

And that negotiation is pretty much the only actual negotiation the two sides I've ever actually had.

One person requests something. Teh other side negotiates. The side that asks has to come to a middle ground. That's what negotiations are.

Only Manny is allowed to have an ego. When he turns down a perfectly good deal because he's being "dictated" to then his minions cheer him on.
