Out of all the options right now Garcia certainly is the one that can be something more given a bit of time. It is why it would be kind of silly to fight him next before that occurs.

I am not to concerned about his next fight because it is going to be what it is going to be, hopefully it has a good under card and Floyd fights aggressively. It won't be worth much thought though I reckon.

The fact is, when Pac re-signed with Arum not too long ago, it killed the fight. If Pac re-signs with Arum at the end of 2014, it kills the fight. Everything else is just WWE bull**** from fanatical fans. Most of which. Would rather the fight not happen so they can scream 20yrs from now that Floyd ducked Pac.
I hear you but greedy bob has seemed to change his tune a bit lately,so i think were even closer toa may/pac fight then ever but will may fight this guy is the million dollar question, you may say yeah ,and i may disagree but thats wuts fun about debating here, they fight on different networks but hey if lewis/tyson can do it there shouldnt be any reason may/pac cant do it

        lol..

it has to be Amir, he's got a decent following.. he's damaged goods.. plus mayweather wants a legit KO to keep his followers brain washed and be like "I can knock out all my opponents! SEE!!".. and he'll be praised again.. "because even though Amir was wobbled in his last fight he showed heart" bal****!!

I blame both Manny and Money.. I thought back when they were both at the peak, 50/50 was fair.. and when Mayweather requested more $$ I liked Manny's counter 60/40.. 60 going to the winner.. and Floydy walked.. or started the "not dealing" with arum, after steroids, and retirements, and whatever else was the case.

I'd still watch it though.. and I will stand by my opinion.. mayweather has yet to face someone with the footwork and angles as pac.. with decent headmovement.. and HELL OF PUNCH OUTPUT, which I think troubles a defensive fighter like Floyd.. but only time will tell!!

Yeah I mean Floyd is a draw all by himself. Look at the Ghost numbers

When Showtime loses some more money on Money, they will put Floyd's ass to the fire and make the Pacquiao fight happen. Unless Floyd is still hoping Canelo will fight on his undercards

I don't know about that. I think a smart, well rounded fighter that can make adjustments has a better shot than a fighter who has one advantage like speed, power or size that will be negated after 3 rounds.

Unfortunately, the "losing money" talk is just hearsay. I've read some of the posts on this forum from the wannabe CPA's and they are nothing short of laughable. I bet the only model they've ever seen was on a runway. Showtime says the fight did 1m orders. Call me when HBO verifies anything Arum says.

I can only imagine the reaction if floyd turned down these deals. Look at how they went at tim and jmm for doing same thing manny did-turn down the biggest offer in his career.

Maybe one day they will judge everyone with the same set of standards.

I have actually never heard anyone use this reasoning. It's a creative effort though, I'll give you that.
He felt strongly about it, and he did have a fall back option of the Mosley fight which was also a huge money fight.

It was probably some gamesmanship that got totally out of hand with both sides digging in their heels plus when some dude starts flipping out about drug testing it probably doesn't make you want to drop that demand.

speed > power/size we both know that.

but you need more than just speed, you need smarts too. we all know khan will be battered and leap like a gazelle into 1,000 right hands like a crash test dummy.

Floyd without Oscar couldn't even sell out his own hometown.
