Looked REAL average yesterday against a poop butt opponent. . He is seeking a payday. He will want to fight at home. That disposition will not play well with a Ward camp that is famous for being cheap, and unreasonable at the table. They had trouble signing Edwin to a contract. A b fighter. Kovalev and Kathy Duva meanwhile would cut the deal, and surrender all advantages in the blink of an eye. The business of boxing, its composition, its rules, dictate that the fight that is easier to make, gets made 90% of the time. Especially a fight drenched in intrigue like Ward/kovalev

If Adonis is seeking Froch (bigger name in diff weight class) or B Hop (also bigger name) then I'm sure he'd bite on Ward. I think (maybe I remember incorrectly) Adonis had mentioned he'd be willing to go to 168 for the right fight. I think Ward would leave Cali for some other "neutral" venue (in the states lol) for the right fights. If anything, B Hop looks like he could give Stevenson some trouble. So if they fight and Adonis doesnt come down then that could olay a factor. I dont think Ward would be hasty and move straight into a Kovalev fight right when moving up.

You're right about it being easier for them to make though... But that arena would be fairly empty. :/

fanboys think ggg is the second coming......lets see him fight someone with a pulse.

Intelligent post, I think the fight sells like crazy in Vegas, esp if you put Hopkins/ Adonis on the undercard

Ward will move up after he fights Triple G, Chavez and the winner of Groves vs Froch rematch

Ward is looking fot the big money fights, once he moves up he will not come back down.

                    So he is chasing Chavez,

10m euros is more than $10m, so that makes even less sense
