Round by Round Scorecard for Froch v Groves

Here's the card, with some of the thoughts I had:

Round 1: 10-8 Groves, Groves gets off to a flier!
Round 2: 10-9 Groves, Froch closes the gap but still looks wobbled and hesitant
Round 3: 10-9 Froch, much better round for the Cobra, takes the fight to Groves
Round 4: 10-9 Groves, the challenger is doing some great work with the jab
Round 5: 10-9 Froch, very close round, just a slight edge to Froch
Round 6: 10-9 Groves, business as usual for Groves, good jab and right hand
Round 7: 10-9 Froch, both men fighting in spurts, Froch does better
Round 8: 10-9 Froch, Froch's best round, really does a job on Groves
Round 9: ---- Early stoppage but Groves was hurt and not throwing

76-75

Froch came on very strong and started to do a number on Groves in rounds 7 and 8, the stoppage was early although there's no denying Groves was hurt.

What did you guys think? Do any of you have a scorecard?

Good to see someone else felt Froch won Round 3.

Rounds 2 and 3 were a bone of contention on the master thread, I felt they were close. My RBR is in there.

I gave Groves rounds 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7.

I gave Froch rounds 2,5,8 and soon to be 9.

I thought 3 could easily have been Froch's round aswell but gave it Groves.

So far from a "domination" it's ridiculous.

I thought Froch won the 3rd, 5th, and 8th. I don't think he needed a KO to win the fight

great thread, great score cards mate, froch did underated body work which sets up the ko.

As said he would be ahead on my score card if he got a standing 8 count in the 9th.

But good stoppage from the ref, saved groves career.

I gave Froch 2 rounds and he would've gotten the 9th. So 6-3 after 9 with a KD.

I didn't score the rounds but I felt most rounds were pretty close but the overall feeling was Groves was outboxing Froch.
