Here's the card, with some of the thoughts I had:
Round 1: 10-8 Groves, Groves gets off to a flier!
Round 2: 10-9 Groves, Froch closes the gap but still looks wobbled and hesitant
Round 3: 10-9 Froch, much better round for the Cobra, takes the fight to Groves
Round 4: 10-9 Groves, the challenger is doing some great work with the jab
Round 5: 10-9 Froch, very close round, just a slight edge to Froch
Round 6: 10-9 Groves, business as usual for Groves, good jab and right hand
Round 7: 10-9 Froch, both men fighting in spurts, Froch does better
Round 8: 10-9 Froch, Froch's best round, really does a job on Groves
Round 9: ---- Early stoppage but Groves was hurt and not throwing
76-75
Froch came on very strong and started to do a number on Groves in rounds 7 and 8, the stoppage was early although there's no denying Groves was hurt.
