Anybody think Sillakh is a bit dangerous?

8/1 underdog, are you kidding me?

I like Kovalev a lot but I think this is potentially a risky fight.

Sillakh I think its fair to say he doesn't have the best chin in the world. Kovalevs chin hasn't really been tested and he was down against Boone in the 7th round.

I think Sillakh is a good fighter, a lot better than he gets credit for & lets be fair, he carries a hell of a punch himself.
I have no doubt he stops Campillo, I think he a bad match up for Cleverly too.

I could see Kovalev ploughing him but another part of me thinks Sillakh could potentially outbox & counter the hell out of Kovalev and dare I say it, potentially win.

I just can't shake feeling this is a risky fight & Sillakh is underrated because of his stoppage loss to Grachev.

I could see a highly competitive fight and I could see Kovalev stop him in 2. It's one of those fights.

I'm not going out on a limb & saying Sillakh because his chin does worry me a lot but I feel he has the ability to stay out of harms way for the first half and could potentially give Kovalev hell.

Kovalev is very upright with little to no head or upper body movement. I sort of feel hes a little made for Sillakh actually but Kovalev has nasty power.

This is a legitimate fight IMO

I just don't see Sillakh as an 8/1 underdog

8-1 does seem a little outrageous. The basis for Sillakh losing seems to be his chin, not a skill issue. His length and technique will take time for Kovalev to adjust to and find a best means of attack, but I think Sergey will and get the stoppage inside 4. I just can't trust his chin.

Its hard to see him staying out of harms way. I don't think Kovalev is so much a one hitter quitter but every shot seems to have an effect.

Can Kovalev stand up to Sillakhs power?

I really don't know with this fight.
I could see just about anything happening in. I think its far from a gimmie like people/bookmakers would lead you to believe.

was thinking the same thing, anytime i see a live underdog, I must make a bet. I missed out on betting on rigodeaux because i was too scared, had someone in vegas put my bet with danny garcia and i was scared watching that whole fight. silklakh is another one, and a bigger underdog than both. anyone know any good betting sites? 8-1 is too big to pass up.

Kovalev's chin is a bit of a question mark and Silllakh was once lauded for his power coming up. Lot of possibilities, I'm intrigued by this fight more than the main event.

Dwyer usually picks a boxer over a puncher, and he has picked Kovalev.

I've been saying since the fight got signed that Sillakh will win this.

                    Dwyer is usually wrong.
