I think Floyd would get credit for beating Sergio at any weight higher than 154. I don't know if Sergio could get down to 154 healthy anymore. You never know. But this isn't happening, as I've said forever, Sergio needs to fight his own legit fights in his own division, but he won't.
And if Floyd fought Sergio, I'd say 3/4 would give him props. But just like the Mosley fight, there'd be those who change tune once it's signed or if he beat him.
No way do 3 out of 4 people give Mayweather props for beating Mosley.
And I never disagreed. I simply said that me personally, I wouldn't discredit the fight. I even admitted to discrediting the Mosley fight, so I'm not gonna sit here, and tell you I've never discredited any of his fights.
My point is, whether they want to discredit or not, it's a great fight, and it will make a ton of money. And whether 20-30% of the fans want to ***** and complain, it will only raise Floyd's stock that much higher.
We all know what happens when Floyd beats someone that's not in their best physical condition.
Floyd fan: "It doesn't matter whether he was prime or not, Floyd would've whooped any version of him!"
So there, that's 2 sides of the coin.
Ok.
But you said there's no reason for people to discredit the fight but there's a long list.
Like I've said I don't really care but it is what it is but that's been evident for years now.

Be honest. When you see Floyd and Sergio's name together, and them possible fighting each other, it gives you the opposite reaction of seeing Floyd and Khan's name together, doesn't it?
So please, stop with the semantics. This is a great fight, and whether people want to ***** about it afterwards, WHO GIVES A CRAP? Let them.
For the time being, this is still a fantasy fight for guys like me, and guys like you, so stop bringing up the people that will discredit him, if he wins.
No way do 3 out of 4 people give Mayweather props for beating Mosley.
And they wouldn't for Sergio either.
I said initially. Then you'd have those change their tune after the fight. I'd say 40-50% give him props for Shane, only because Floyd is so hated. Most in boxing or real unbias fans do. I mean that was the fight they all wanted him to take after Pacquiao walked away.
not a hope in hell this fight happens unless martinez has two broken legs. If he's 100% at 160 sergio dominates ... close fight at 154 with a 100% martinez.

Obviously. I would like to see the fight.
Again, multiple times I've stated, all I'm saying that the excuses and discredit is going to come flooding in after the fight should Mayweather win. It's pretty much a carbon copy of the Mosley fight except Mosley was actually coming off an impressive win and wasn't injury prone.
I don't really care, I'm just stating what will inevitably happen.
Me myself would be happy if that fight were signed.

And your argument is valid, no one said it wasn't.
Your argument also doesn't mean a damn thing.
If they want to hate on the win, let them. It's still a great fight, and people discrediting on the win isn't a good enough reason for him to not make it, IF this fight is actually being discussed.
So pretty much, yes, people will hate on the fight, and most people's stance would be WHO GIVES A CRAP? Make the fight already.
Floyd wouldn't get credit but it still would be a good fight.
It won't happen though.
floyd won't get credit? you're another idiot that knows nothing about boxing. which is why you said what you said. sergio martinez is the recognized ring magazine 160lb WBC champion of the world. floyd has WBC titles at 130,135,140,147,and 154. collecting 160 sets him apart from all the rest in the history of the sport. now that some credit for your ass.
