Ward got decked by Boone who only has 8 in 43 yet has never been remotely troubled against top level fighters.

He was decked by Ajisafe - not just decked but outboxed in parts, McKenzie had him down twice before a rather premature stoppage & some other bum too

It doesn't look good when Stevenson is faster, better in every department and hits harder than all of them combined.

Hes useless at fighting southpaws at the best of times.

I am not sure but was wondering about that. As soon as GBP dumped him, Top Rank signed him right up. It might come down to fighter development. GBP is not really into it but Top Rank has always welcomed it.

Fair enough, Dan. I haven't seen either fight other than the ending so can't offer a reasoned comment.

I did mention in another thread that Bellews best chance is to stay busy & hope Stevensons stamina wears out.

Saying busy might be his best chance but he throws such wide sloppy shots , that'll leave him open to Stevenson's straighter shots , the odds are really against Bellew.

Other than Mares, has GBP really raised a guy from the bottom? They usually pluck them after they have somewhat established themselves.

Yeah he's been dropped 4 times by Journeymen.

The second McKenzie one especially was a hard KD.
