I'll never understand how he could do that. Then SUE them instead? Leonard didn't sue Hearns when Hearns was smack talking about steroids. SMH

You criticize the other guy for setting the date of his next fight while giving a pass to your dear love floyd. Did you criticize floyd when he said that he wants March 15 with Pac right after Pac vs Cotto? your beyond ******ity! sometimes, try to remove Floyd's d*ck on your mouth! hahahaha
The #1 fighter in the world has the #1 fight venue in the world reserved for the biggest fight weekend of the year. The guy who could make it the biggest fight ever anounced plans for his next fight 3 weeks prior to this date, effectively taking him out of contention to be the opponent.

Nothing you post about me changes that.

I could respect the Mayweather's more if they simply admitted they don't want to risk a Pac fight. A shot Pac at that.

Whenever this tired subject comes up. All you read is pages and pagess of "Floyd is scared of Manny", "Pac don't wanna take the tests", "Arum needs to build a stadium", blah, blah, blah. But you hardly, if ever read any come up with a solution or suggestion as to how the fight can realistically be made. And now, there's. Even more roadblocks than ever. Most of which being the GBP-TR feud, which now has even divided the networks. I have a couple scenarios in which it could possibily happen. But they're longshots at best.

First, Floyd is technically a promotional free agent. So he has nothing legally binding him to GBP. So if he leaves GBP outta the mix, it makes the fight a lil easier to make. He's contractually tied to Showtime and Manny mostly fights on HBO. But, Pac has nothing legally binding him to HBO and has fought on Showtime in the past. But, he's contractually obligated to Arum, whom Floyd doesn't wanna work with. Especially if Arum is running the entire promotion, which would be the case. So if Floyd dumps GBP for this fight, agrees to let Arum run the promotion, and Pac jumps to Showtime. It could be made. Not likely.

My other suggestion would be Pac being bought outta his TR contract on a one fight basis. For a promotion of this magnitude. I'm sure Showtime, GBP, and Floyd could make a very sizeable offer to Arum to release Pac for a night and stay away from the promotion. This would actually be the easiest route to go. The only roadblock here would be Arum's ego. Would he be willing to allow his golden goose to be involved in an event this big and have nothing to do with it? Again, highly unlikely.

All in all, its a very tough fight to make. And IMO, with all the stars that would have to align to make it happen. From a pure boxing standpoint, right now it isn't a must fight. Pac's had a very tough last couple years and Floyd has clearly widened the gap between the two in terms of status and stature in the sport. And with all the headaches that would be involved in making this one. Not to mention that I think the price tag for fans for this one would be unlike anything we've ever seen. Personally, I'd like to see Manny do a little more before going all in and saying this is a must fight. A win over Bradley or JMM would do it for me. But until then, its not a fight I'm overly interested in, especially with all the bull**** that's gonna be involved in making it.

Are we to believe that Mayweather wants this fight? If he does want it he is doing a poor job of convincing ANYONE. This is infuriating as a fan of boxing. I could respect an honest answer that was reasonable. Something, "I know I can beat Manny. I don't want the fight yet because I can make 100 million fighting these three guys first.. then make another 100 million fighting Manny." I could live with that. May not like it... but could live with it. If he thinks by cutting down Manny in a fight he looses future big purses then it makes sense.
I just can't stand all the BS about why the fight hasn't/won't happen. I think I said this before... let the negotiations be a PPV event in itself. Set a time limit, bring in an arbitrator, moderator, etc. Each side lays out a public package with their "demands" and let the fans see what is going on before the negotiations start.

Clearly I haven't thought out every detail, but anyone tell me what is wrong with this idea?

how does one hear a post on NSB?

In 2010 floyd did not have the MGM reserved on cinco de mayo weekend. In 2014, floyd has increased his stature such that MGM allows him to reserve a May 2014 date in October 2013. SO the situations are somewat different. would you agree?

The fact is today floyd has the MGM reserved may 5th weekend and knowing this, Manny and his team said they have plans to return April 12th. That clearly shows they are not planning to fight floyd in May as the comments from manny and his team suggest they want to do.

The best thing Manny ever did to secure a fight with gayfeather was get KTFO. Otherwise the fight would NEVER happen. He should get knocked out again if he really wants it.
