Nobody said because Manny beat Rios _________ , Manny Pacquaio has tried to make a fight with Floyd for more than 5 years, and the Mayweather Klan has always had a bag full of excuses to choose someone else. So these are ****** comments from his crackhead father, who must be having a relapse. Manny beat Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Hatton, Dela Hoya, Mosley, Bradley, now Rios, and has been calling out Floyd all along, to no avail. So quit with the smoke screen as though this is about one win over Rios, who everyone was calling a "dangerous fight" for Pacquiao, whom Manny embarrassed in the ring. The same could be said for Canelo or Guerrero, and their lackluster performances against Mayweather; those two showed us nothing. Rios showed us nothing. SO step up Mayweather. Stop with the smoke and mirrors, and the ducking of Manny Pacquaio for 5 years. You ducked Cotto & Mosley for more than 10 years because they were too dangerous in their prime. Grow a set!

Are we to believe that Mayweather wants this fight? If he does want it he is doing a poor job of convincing ANYONE. This is infuriating as a fan of boxing. I could respect an honest answer that was reasonable. Something, "I know I can beat Manny. I don't want the fight yet because I can make 100 million fighting these three guys first.. then make another 100 million fighting Manny." I could live with that. May not like it... but could live with it. If he thinks by cutting down Manny in a fight he looses future big purses then it makes sense.
I just can't stand all the BS about why the fight hasn't/won't happen. I think I said this before... let the negotiations be a PPV event in itself. Set a time limit, bring in an arbitrator, moderator, etc. Each side lays out a public package with their "demands" and let the fans see what is going on before the negotiations start.

That's kinda the problem with this soap opera. Floyd doesn't care about convincing us that he truly wants Pac. And Pac's team cares wayyyyyy too much about convincing us that they want the fight. That's where most of the drama is coming from. And its been the same thing year after year after year. Floyd is gonna say he doesn't need Pac and Pac is gonna have to play ball on his terms. Pac wins a fight, his crew and fans scream to the high heavens that they want Floyd. While simultaneously having a fight date lined up that makes the Floyd fight impossible to make. For the life of me I can't understand why people are still choosing sides here.

The next to last sentence in this post says it all. If and when Floyd fights Manny and predictably picks him apart. All of those screaming that he's ducking him will be saying that Floyd ducked him in his prime and give him ZERO credit for the win.

I think th majority of Pact@rds would rather scream about "Floyd's ducking Manny" than actually seeing the fight. First of all, Floyd Sr never has and never will speak for his son. Second of all, on minutes after the Rios fight, it was announced that Pac has an Apr 12 HBO date locked in. That shows you how serious Pac and crew are about making the fight. Neither side wants the fight. Pac's side just cares more about winning the PR war. Can't believe people still go for, and/or care about this nonsense, on both sides.

Exactly this. People complainig about the words Sr. said but they act like ARUM has not already set up Manny in April. But yes, Floyd is ducking again, blah blah blah. Its Floyd fault Manny has an April date set up for him when THE WHOLE WORLD knows Floyd is set up to fight Cinco De Mayo weekend. In 2010 floyd did not have the MGM reserved on cinco de mayo weekend. In 2014, floyd has increased his stature such that MGM allows him to reserve a May 2014 date in October 2013. SO the situations are somewat different. would you agree?

The fact is today floyd has the MGM reserved may 5th weekend and knowing this, Manny and his team said they have plans to return April 12th. That clearly shows they are not planning to fight floyd in May as the comments from manny and his team suggest they want to do.

I will ask you again you moron! Why did you pass floyd of reserving March 15 few yrs back and now you criticizing the other guy who wants the other date? Dont give me the cinco de mayo again.. coz as I said, why did floyd choose March 15 instead of cinco de Mayo that time? He can reserved it, right?
