Well that's not even the major stumbling block IMO. The major stubling block is egos. I'm pretty sure Arum and Pac know he's gonna get the short end of the purse. The bigger issue is that Floyd is contractually tied to Showtime. Pac is contractually tied to TR. And Floyd doesn't wanna work with Arum. Now of course, the Floyd supporters will say that Floyd is the bigger draw and more highly rated fighter. So Pac needs to just bend over and take whatever Floyd ask for. But of course the Pacquaio backers will say Floyd is just putting roadblocks in the way to prevent the fight. its easy to say they need to find middle ground. But that's not gonna happen. Someone is gonna have to bend over. So IMO it all comes down to who wants it more. If Floyd wants it more, he'll bend over and let Arum be the primary promoter. If Pac wants it more. He'll go to Arum and say I love you, but you gonna have to go away from a lil while for this to happen. That's the simple reality of this situation.

So how do they realistically make the fight happen?Comment

Has there ever been a time when the lesser draw, lower on the p4p ranks, who didn't hold a title got an equal split?
Delahoya/Tinidad I know Trinidad took like 15 million less in guarantees.Comment

When did Arum sign an exclusive deal with HBO? Didn't Pac fight Mosley on Showtime? No he wont take step aside money. arum has a exclusive deal with HBO he cant promote on showtime. Floyd would have to opt out of showtime deal. then Arum would have to promote it on HBO. I doubt that happens.
Best case-do a tyson'lennox type deal, seperate announcers, seperate everything.Comment

Pac won't ask for an equal split. His team has been much more concerned with the PR side of this nonsense than Floyd's side. And he knows asking for an equal split makes him look very bad.Comment

Manny has fought on Showtime before. But I agree - it's about egos.Well that's not even the major stumbling block IMO. The major stubling block is egos. Jones-Calzaghe was close to 50-50. But that's because no one knew Calzaghe.
I think at this point, Manny would have to take Canelo money, maybe slightly more.Comment

Didn't **** up. You didn't get it. Not my problem. Keep whining.Comment

I agree....although I give the fight about a 50/50 of happening which is something. A lot of obstacles though. But realistically, we know that's not gonna happen. So IMO that's like buying a lotto ticket and planning your financial future based on hitting. So to me, that's not a realistic solution. IMO, somebody is gonna have to bend over and take about a 12" **** in their ass, maybe a double **** to make this thing happen. Whether it be Showtime, HBO, GBP, Arum, Floyd, and/or Pac. So IMO its not a matter of if someone is gonna get ****ed. Its about who's willing to get ****ed. So in that case, it almost comes down to what wants it more. Do you agree?Comment
