Floyd is afraid of losing his 0 because that is what he has built his hype around, being an undefeated fighter,, if floyd had a loss or 2 we wouldnt be earning anything near what he is now...
Plus floyd is the most powerful boxer in the world, if he really wanted it, he could have made it, no doubt,, he is the face of boxing and #1 draw, and only ali, srl, oscar, tyson can say that, and all those guys made the fights no matter the promoters or networks involved,,, Look at oscar, he was the #1 draw and the face of boxing and he landed fights with tito, shane, vargas, ike, pernel, chavez, hopkins, manny, floyd, etc... I see no reason why floyd couldnt do the same except for that he doesnt want to,,, There is no plausible reason except for that,,, Your talking about a guy that is a free agent, has no restrictions, no promoter, yet for whatever reason he cant make the biggest fight in history,,
FLoyd could come out on ESPN and call manny out repeatedly and apply a bunch of pressure to get the fight done,,, But when have you ever seen floyd call manny out, he makes a bunch of excuses, and says its easy money, easy fight, then why doesnt he fight him,, Every fight of this magnitude has always been made,, ali-frazeir, ali-foreman, srl-duran, srl-hearsn, srl-hagler, tyson-spinks, tyson-holyfield, oscar-tito, oscar-floyd, etc
If floyd was just some fighter like mares or donaire, then it would be understandable, but not if your the damn #1 fighter in the world, who has no restrictions and is his own boss,,
Like i said before, from 09-12 he could have made any demands he wanted from arum and arum would have agreed as long as TR was the promoter for the fight,, Floyd is a free agent and only works fight by fight basis with GBP, he could have easily made this fight with TR from 09-12, to think otherwise is just fanboy denial
Who's next Hatton? Why did Floyd pull Hatton up to 147? Are you not familiar with how Hatton became known as Tune-up in boxing circles? Let me educate you. Hatton sa ringside as Floyd dismantled Gatti in a 140 fight. Hatton was the lineal champ in that division. When asked about the proposition of fighting Floyd. He cited that he would need a couple tune-ups. Floyd moved on to 140. Because the other top 140lb fightr at that time's name was Miguel Cotto. When his promoter was asked about a Floyd fight. He said Cotto, who he was promoting as the WBO jr welterweight champ, was too green to fight Floyd at the moment. So Floyd moved up because his main priority was trying to secure a fight with then jr middleweight champ Oscar de la Hoya. So please explain to me how Floyd drug Hatton up to 47. What was he supposed to do? Wait until Hatton had enough tune-ups at 40? And the irony is, Floyd and Hatton turned pro at roughly the same time. Floyd started at 130. Hatton started ay 140. So assuming Floyd didn't hit puberty at 30, in reality how much bigger than Hatton was he?
Who else, Canelo? I'll tell anyone willing to listen that catchweights are lame. But let's be honest. Just like when Pac fought DLH, Cotto, and Margarito. Floyd beat Canelo, much like Pac did those guys, in a manner that you can make an educated assumption that the catchweight had little, and likely nothing to do with the end result.
At the end of the day, you and a lotta others want Floyd to make concessions and fight guys when its convienent for them. You've said Floyd SHOULD abandon his relationship with GBP. You've said Floyd SHOULD opt outta the most lucrative TV contract in boxing history. All to make a fight with Pac. But as you said. Floyd IS the face of boxing. Floyd IS the #1 P4P fighter in the world. So tell me. When in boxing hisory has the guy that moves the needle been forced to make concessions and bend over backwards to make a fight with anyone? From where I'm sitting. If Floyd is all those things you say he is. Shouldn't Pac be the one one doing whatever is necessary to make a Floyd fight happen. And if that means telling Arum to kick rocks, so be it?

I'll keep it brief with you. You talk to much like senior does haha! Just tell your boy Floyd to man up and fight for all the glory that comes with it. got it?
Duck season is over now. Every excuse your camp makes just sound silly and it's not just now. Your camp sounds so dumb every time they open their mouths.
I think they've run out of excuses as evident to Seniors dimwit excuse that Rios ain't it but winning to Berto does lol Never ending rodeo that seems to show all smoke and mirrors for Floyd's camp. They know something we don't know and maybe it's that left hand down the pipe their worried about. Pac throws it all night and that shoulder roll won't cut it.

On the flipside, Floyd probably enters the ring an underdog against Martinez 60. And even if its at 54, the odds would be a lot closer than what Floyd-Pac would be.
Dude know your boxer. You seem like you don't know him too well. Too much kool-aid does that to you.
It ain't happening. Now get back to reality and say I want him to fight Khan. He's the best out there for floydLast edited by Spoon23; 11-27-2013, 09:46 PM.

As for Floyd-Pac, I just don't see it. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. If they fight, I'll watch. But going in, I'd expect to have some early success. But expect Floyd to adjust and win 8-9rds in an uneventful clinic. Ironicaly, that's pretty much identical to how I see Khan playing out against Floyd.
