This fight makes too much money for it not to happen,, Floyd waited out manny much like SRL did to hagler
Floyd cant wait around any longer because manny was already lost and been iced,,,

Ideally floyd would fight khan and garcia in 2014, while manny fights bradley and jmm and beats both for redemption,,

then may 2015 you make floyd-manny just like they did with lennox-tyson

I think the purse split should be 60/40 floyd unless manny ko's jmm and bradley and really has his hype back, then make it 55/45 for floyd

I also believe that floyd can opt out of showtime contract at anytime, so if need be he would just opt out, and go back to HBO for the manny fight..

The thing to remember is that floyd is all out of ppv caliber opponents, he has no more oscar, hatton, cotto, shane, canelo,,, Manny is the only one that could bring blockbuster type sales, fighting khan, garcia, bradley, wont make anywhere near the type of money that manny-floyd does

This fight can happen and it will happen in 2015 or sooner,,, Too much $$$$
What you're failing to realize is that DK and Arum had a great working relationship. GBP and TR's relationship couldn't be worse. So IMO one isn't gonna be involved. So at that point, it boils down to who's the odd man out. Floyd isn't contractually obligated to GBP. So I assume it would be easier for him to leave them out in the cold and let Arum run the show. But can you really see Floyd, who's currently in the driver's seat, allowing Arum to be the primary promoter of one of his shows?

Bro Floyd goes to Showtime and tell him to make the ****ing fight! Simple. He's damn near calling all the shots over there with Haymon. If he wants it done, it can get done. The date of April is just in case that they can't get Floyd. And it gets thrown out of the window for a fight with Floyd.
So if Floyd goes to Showtime and says "get me Pacquaio", who's gonna promote the show. Floyd's currently in the driver's seat and prefers working with GBP and hates Arum. Pac is contractually bound to TR. How do they get over that hurrdle?

True. Tyson/King weren't former Bob Arum employees that got sued by him. Arum eff'd that relationship up fast.

And Trinidad fought on HBO a bunch before fighting Delahoya.

The bolded is what Bob counts on everytime this fight gets discussed-that fans actually believe he's trying to set a floyd fight up but has a another date just in case.

The last time he did this Margarito, in a Feb 2010 interview, said he was promised the Manny fight. which meant all the talk about a floyd fight was BS. In Nov 2010-manny v Margs.

How does Bob keep fooling people like this year in and year out?

At the end of the day, the easiest way to make this fight happen is for Showtime PPV to televise and Arum to promote. Happy good luck with that ****.

Doesn't matter. Let's assume Team Pac wants it now. You think Arum would be willing to take a step aside fee to allow Pac to get the fight he supposedly wants the most?

Yeah, Manny and Arum aren't in a position to negotiate that right now. They draw considerably yes and Manny is the inferior fighter.

we all know pac wants to fight floyd the fraud, but how come we never hear the fraud wanting to fight pac?

yes, one time fraud mentioned, 'pac you're next,' but contradicted it as soon as somebody asked him if he gonna go through it.

No he wont take step aside money. arum has a exclusive deal with HBO he cant promote on showtime. Floyd would have to opt out of showtime deal. then Arum would have to promote it on HBO. I doubt that happens.

Best case-do a tyson'lennox type deal, seperate announcers, seperate everything.
