Pac is going all in against the BIR here in the Pi. He's going to fight them up to the court of tax appeals. Hired top-notch lawyers and accountants.

Taxman states that in the scenario that Pac did actually pay the IRS 30% of his winnings, Pac still has obligations of paying taxes in the Pi because of their rate of 32%.

Taxman demands from PAC the certified true copies from IRS (Photocopy and letter from TOPRANK are not admissable). Stating that Pac should provide the burden of proof. Politics runs deep in Pac's case. You've got to be living here to know what's really going on.

I really don't get where some posters are coming from believing that Pac is BROKE. The case here is Pac owing back-taxes which he is presently fighting against. Simple as that.

Pacs dumb I like him but you let this man run everything that's why fight hasn't happen. You net worth only 65 mil so if you owe 50 he may not be broke but dam it close lol

I've worked with, and know a lot of Filipinos, and they are far from ******, especially about money. And because Manny and his wife pursue faith and pay a ten percent tithe to their church shows a level of commitment to that church and has nothing to do with ******ity. Granted, he's not a wall street banker, but probably the greedy and unprincipled of his world fleeced him, or something very much like it. Now, unfortunately he has to pay the piper.

It has taken 2 years for pacquiao to show proof that he has paid taxes on his earnings,and he has not produced receipts for anything execept a letter from scum arum and hbo, something tells me that something is fishy here

I don't doubt for a second that Manny has lots of $$$$$$ safely put away for his family. He seems like that sort of person to take the extra precaution to ensure his family's safety. I highly doubt Pacman is "broke" regardless of what his bank account says. My bank account says im just getting by, but my pockets my fire and explosive proof safe and various businesses i own tell a different story.

Manny aint no fool but he DOES need to get away from Arum at this point.
