Look at what we know now, Floyd and Oscar left him and refuse to do business with him, That vision quest company that was hired and subsequently fired at the behest of Koncz and Arum, the said Pac was Low on money and was having to borrow money from Arum between fights, Freddie Roach said he feared Pac would end up fighting longer than he needed to because he was Broke or very low on cash, and then this comes up. This is not about Pac and Floyd its about a great boxers getting screwed by his promoter, which is nothing new. I hate his fans but I have nothing but love for that Man for what he's done. I really hope everything works out for him and his family. And remember his fans always kept talking about hoping Floyd ends up broke. Karma. But Pac needs to leave arum because there isnt any reason in the world that he doesnt have atleast close to what Floyd has in terms of Money. Just on his last three fights he should have money to spare if he was paid what Arum claimed. I talk **** about him because of his fans annoyance but unlike them I dont wish this on ANYONE who has worked so hard to accomplish so much. Keep your head up Champ.Comment

There is an awful lot if speculation here! Much as I hate Arum I would not accuse not knowing the facts....If hate is to be had, hate the IRS and their greedy counterparts in the Phillipines.
Here is what I do know: routinely many ethnic Chinese and other local corrupt special people parts of the administration are allowed to dodge taxes. It is documented that the IMF, for example allowed assets to be acquired by rich citizens that were supposed to be for the economy. The tax laws are levied to be punitive....in my opinion i find it hard to imagine that the tax authorities (which are documented as being corrupt) are going after Pac for storm relief. The only relief that will ever reach people, a day after the storm, to a year later is relief that is physically dropped into their hands via helicopter.
Unfortunately Pac needs his faith and his resoucefulness (he is not ****** folks) because he has a management team wth questionable ethics, a bunch of petty, greedy sycophants who smile to his face and pretend to be glad of his success but want to destroy the "upstart" who is sincere....and he has their enforcer, the IRS and local tax authority. Most boxers are brought down by the IRS....this guy has three enemy groups.
Sometimes a pure heart trumps all though. I believe that Pacs best weapon is his simple kindness and good nature. He probbaly has good friends that know whats up.
But its not just a matter of taxes owed...The tax authorities are corrupt people. Pac would and probably has given more money to those in need than what he will ever pay in taxes. He knows and everyone with any sense knows that the tax obligation is a red herring. Proof is that if it were not, at the very least the tax people would work with him...And the amount of time is academic! The tax authorities have this thing called interest see?Comment

Yeah agree with you I'm not a PAC fan but at the same time I feel that a person that put his life on the line sacrificed what he did to get where he is should reap the rewards of his work and not be taken advantage of. He's probably amongst the 4th highest paid boxer in history for him to even be in this mess and have to front money off Arum is such a joke. He's never going to regular person broke but still being rich person broke for someone who now should be in a position of power and be a boss this is a damn shame.
This reminds me of the Micheal Jackson situation where his spending habits were outrageous and his advisors are strictly out for themselves leaving him near broke before he died. And Manny just seems like a actuall good person who wants to help people and hes surrounded by vultures.Comment

Yeah ok!!!
Anyone that thinks Pacquiao is broke is crazy lol... Bob Arum is holding on to his 18 million until this issue gets resolved and the fact that Manny paid his taxes already will clear this right up... Stop with the hate, fu**ing negativity and **** talking about the man already...Comment
