That was a humungous shot Froch did well to recover, he walked into it couldnt have been harder, was weird how tentative he was early and surprised how inept and squared up he looked, I think he really fired up later though and improved and I do think Groves got saved, was 90 secs left in round he was badly wobbled.
I would have liked Groves to win after that showing but Im not sure if the stoppage was too early, I guess its a world title fight like he said but he was one or two shots away from a nasty KO, not sure he would have lasted the round

I like to see him back as confident as before, he deserves it

My thoughts too. He's clearly trying to save his former fighter from all the arm punches and jabs that didn't land.

God forbid Groves was to lose a round to Froch in a rematch.

Makes you wonder. A lot of people think Groves was on his way out at the stoppage.

What a silly thing to say. Just because Froch is awkward doesn't mean he isn't good! There are plenty of fighters who were either awkward or not very technical and still excellent/good fighters: Hamed, Pacquiao, Jessie James Leija, etc...

Did we really just put Carl Froch's garbage ass in the same sentence with Manny Pacquaio?

Andre Direll is better than Groves... judging by those 2 fights, you could make the case that Froch isn't as good as he used to be.

He's foolish, he has no respect for a great fighter who takes on all-comers.

When ever there's a robbery that happens in any fashion during a fight and 99% of the public agree on it, no one should even acknowledge the guy that was awarded the fight as being the winner and it should always be pointed out that the fight was a robbery when ever it gets mentioned. If most people that watched Froch vs Groves feel Groves was winning and feel that the fight got stopped way too soon or by accident, then instead of doing a rematch they should give Groves a shot at Andre Ward, unless he actually prefers a rematch with Froch.

There will always be a question mark in this fight. The rematch definitely needs to happen.

The Dirrell fight was another blatant robbery (Froch won 3-4 rounds tops) and somehow made it out with a Split Decision in his hometown of Nottingham.

Froch did what he has done since pascal, i mean look at the punches he took then, and in the Taylor fight! He did what he always does, he makes a superhuman warrior comeback, groves was gassed and hurt, froch was on the way to another majestic, win, that would have made him a hero. And people talk about a fix! how exactly did that favour froch?
