Nothing but good news for boxing fans. Showtime deserves it, they've been working overtime with their boxing events.

Showtime already had more than 20 million subscribers and HBO had around 28 millions subs.

It's a bleacher report "article" and those figures are bogus.

True that, even though I think their production is B level compared to HBO's, they still have made amazing strides and put in all kinds of work/effort to up their product. Sheeeyat they even got the superior roster now. Obviously signing the #1 P4P to their team shifted the balance but even without FMJ they still got a lot of fighters with high entertainment value.

HBO's production still just levels above Showtime's. All their **** -- their PPVs, their fights, their weak ass all-access, I mean it's just not in the same zip code as the HBO production. It comes off weak. 24/7 is so well done it's ridiculous. Even this last PPV which had the lamest undercard ever, it was still a great production from top to bottom. Even that damn intro into the fight (talking about Pac's redemption and Bam Bam's ambition) was pure awesomeness. Their **** comes off professional while Showtime sometimes just comes off cheesy as f**k.

It's a damn shame; I wish we could just end these childish beefs and bring ALL the fighters to HBO. I will admit though Showtime now has the more entertaining roster of fighters.

Essentially, you believe more in eye candy. Which is fair enough.

I honestly think that's a fair attribute of those that are entertained so much more by movies and make belief series. They're usually less entertained by reality series, which the sweet science of boxing is more of.

Then they have bad matchmaking cause HBO smokes them in the foty stakes. And in viewing numbers. And in fight card frequency, which you may not have noticed being a Brit (?)
