Groves looked as if he was going down when the Ref grabbed him. he would of got up, and from there on I would "guess" at froch most probably stopping the show or atleast taking over rnds 10, 11 & 12 getting a ud/md..

This is only my estimation as we will never know. But hopefully the rematch will give us conclusive answer.

It was an epic fight as well..

Groves did not look in much trouble to me hands were up and was throwing back also Froch was as knackered as Groves at the end and was gasping like a fish out of water. I think presuming Groves keeps his hands up and moves away Froch did not have enough to keep pressing that attack and the fight continues with phases of Groves on top and then Froch having success Groves will probably be nicking the rounds and looking a winner, only to be robbed by the judges. I cant see into the future though so i dont know if Groves lands another cracker on the wide open Froch and KOs him either, all i know is we had a great fight ruined the first time Froch buzzed Groves all night and the ref could not stop it quick enough. I also know who's brain was more scrambled at the end and seemed more dazed and that was Froch so maybe the Ref should have been consistent and jump in to save him longterm damage.

Groves was still on his feet moving away,, Forch backs off and side steps so it looks like he is behind Groves and pushes him and ref grabs Groves.

Groves was trying to move away from Froch and off the ropes, which was the right thing to do on Groves part

Ive seen Amir Khan hurt far worse and come back to win a fight, Groves wasn't doing the chicken dance, he was buzzed by one punch, but not to the point where his legs were buckling or stiffening. He had his sense to move away, still had use of his arms

If every fight were to be stopped like that, with some mystic meg ref who see's the future, boxing would be horrible to watch. Groves deserved to fight on, the fight was in his favour

              He lands more than 2.

I had the fight 76 to 75 for Groves. I thought Froch was putting the pressure on Groves in the middle rounds and was winning those rounds. It was the ref fault for ruining this fight for the fans. That stoppage was awful.

Of course we will never know, but i think Froch would of stopped him in the 9th.
I think the fight was finally catching up with Groves.

Well sure, it looked like Froch would have got him. That doesn't change the fact that the stoppage was premature, and Groves deserved the chance to try to finish the fight. I would rather have a fight stopped early rather than late, but damn that was too early.

I've always thought of Froch as an arm punching pub brawler whos best weapon is his mouth. It was a real tonic to see Mr.Tuffee plopped on his arse and made to do the riverdance when he got up too quickly. Ref. stopped it too soon mistaking flailing for effective punching.
