And the thing is, all this safe-approach came from Garcia DIRECTLY. I was watching the fight again this morning and he kept telling him to keep it "smart" (in other words, cautious as hell).

This is what I think, Garcia knew he didn't have a chance and knew what happened with Margarito. He has a source of income in Rios that is not smart to let him get hurt when he has a career ahead of him and decided to tell him, hey you're getting paid well, stay covered and if the opportunity presents itself throws a haymaker... if not, no worries.

he wasnt the same pressure come forward fighter who didnt give a fck.

        pac got him lost...

I didn't see any of what was said in the corners or I don't remember I was half asleep through most of the fight I don't think the stream I used had them talking in the corner for some reason

Are you kidding with this thread?

Brandon Rios tried. He did what he could. He got the **** beat out of him and had nothing left to give by the end. Had nothing to do with lack of heart, Rios was physically incapable of giving more by the end. His corner should have stopped it when that became evident, either after the 10th or 11th.

                Some interesting theories in here...

From Watching the fight it's easy to say it was the Huge difference in foot speed. Pacquiao kept turning him and turning him, and dont forget, regardless what anyone says Pacquiao has good power. Unique combination that belongs to Pacquiao.

I always said that Brandon has the power to KO Pacquiao, but Being able to catch him is another obsticle he would have trouble overcoming. You can't go in recklessly against Pacquiao either, simple as that.

And as far as the "BAlls" comment, Rios Never took a step back....

He didn't try as much as he did in his previous fights you gotta admit that he fought in a few spots but that was not the same Rios that was in with Alvarado he was much more hesitant to let his hands go

This is probably 1 of the ******est treads in recent times. What the hell is a less skilled fighter supposed to do when faced with someone who's greater in most every category?? What more was Rios supposed to do??
