Manny has 3 great fights with jmm and bradley,, snoozer vs shot mosely, tough rios

I love how you talk about belts, like belts mean anything anymore,,,

remind me again what was ghost and ortiz's best win besides bum berto
at least rios had peterson, and alvarado on his resume

You can even talk about who's faced the better opposition in last five or six fights, too.

      Manny:
      Rios
      Marquez
      Bradley
      Marquez
      Mosley

      Floyd:
      Canelo
      Guerrero
      Cotto
      Ortiz
      Mosley
Toss up between Timothy Bradley and Canelo Alvarez, I just think Bradley has accomplished more than Canelo.

Pacquiao is so limited with what Top Rank have in their stable.

Overall recent top 5; I give the edge to Mayweather.

How the hell can you correct that or even go by ring rankings when canelo and ghost were both p4p,, even though they have zero business being there

You are saying Guerrero and Ortiz are legit welterweights? Guerrero had 2 fights at welterweight, while Ortiz had one welterweight fight before facing Floyd. There is a difference between legit champions and paper champions. You can say Ortiz(Berto), Cotto(Foreman), and Canelo(Hatton) were paper champions when Floyd faced them. There is also a saying that its tougher to defend your title than to take it from a champion.

Cotto was 3 and 0 with three KO's at 154. He has put up the most competitive fight against Floyd than anybody else has in years. JMM and Bradley had a combined 0 wins at WW going in their fight with Manny. To me the answer is obvious.

I give Mayweather the edge, taking into account WHEN they fought.

              Manny:
              Rios (Lost previous fight.)
Marquez (Wily vet who jumped back in P4P discussion after shocking the world.)
Bradley (Undefeated young champion, P4P top 10 at the time)
Marquez (Looked like he was on his last legs going in. Exceeded expectations and won the fight in my opinion.)
Mosley (Hadn't won in two years. Joke fight.)

              Floyd:
Canelo (Undefeated young champion in a unification bout. Floyd moved up.)
Guerrero (#1 contender for WBC title.)
Cotto (WBA Champion. Floyd moved up to 154.)
              Ortiz (WBC champion.)
Mosley (WBA champion. Coming off best performance in my opinion.)
BONUS: Marquez (Wiped out Manny's archrival, who was P4P #2.)

              Floyd takes this easily.

You can't say because he had wins at 154, he was a good champion at 154. Who did he beat? Foreman, Mayorga, Margarito. Two of those dudes were shot, and Foreman was a paper champion, who beat a shot Daniel Santos. Therefore, Cotto was a paper champion at 154. Marquez and Bradley were P4P fighters when Pacquiao faced them. Cotto was not P4P when Floyd faced him.

and what were those great 154 wins for cotto,, shot mayorga, one-leg foreman, and shot one-eye margs,,
Lets not act like he was beating molina, lara, trout

JMM, and bradley are much better than anyone floyd has faced in his last five fights,, So yes the answer should be pretty obvious, unless you cant comprehend hype jobs and never has-beens and manufactured win streaks, If you cant tell the difference between those, then your probably on the wrong side of the correct answer
