Please. Froch didn't want none before this. He definitely don't want none now. If Bute beats Pascal. I suspect Froch will suddenly start having trouble making 168 and move up to 175 for the Bute rematch. If Pascal wins, he'll fight the rubbermatch with Kessler. And if by some miracle Chavez Jr is able to beat Bika. His crew is gonna get with Arum about staging a major PPV unification bout with Jr in either UK or Mexico. Hell, they'll probably sign a two fight deal to fight in UK and Mexico.

That was the mother of all fixed fights. After the battering that Froch took can the referee really sleep easily without the under the table money he got?
The promoter was so worried during the fight but his relief was so obvious,
he smelt like Don King.Groves should skip the rematch. He clearly won.

Look i dont like Froch, you can probably tell that because of my avatar picture. Firstly let me say that the stoppage was bull**** and yes Froch was losing the fight at that point. What i do think though was that that although the stoppage itself was garbage the TKO was going to come before the end of the fight, of that i have no doubt. I would say that on balance the right fighter won, although not at the right time. I guess if was allowed to contiune Groves could of found something but i highly doubt it. He looked done.

What GG needs to do is get a rematch signed, get a world class fitness coach in so he has 12 round stamina and he wins a rematch on that showing.

            seriously watch the stoppage

            I don't think it's all that bad.

after Froch hurts Groves he unloads on him for about 15-20 seconds. the ref taps Groves on his shoulder and tell him do something. the ref breaks them up Froch hurts Groves again as it appears he's going down.

I believe Groves was on his way down because he can't stand when he's trying to complain to the ref. maybe the ref saw something we didn't. it wasn't a terrible call

the problem I have is it's a championship fight and Groves should have been allowed to go on but he wasn't doing to much to defend himself and after what happened to Leal and Mago, I don't think the ref was willing to take any chances.

Should every fighter that gets hurt or stunned get stopped now? If that's the case, they weren't applying that rule to Froch, who was hurt a lot worse than Groves and more often.

Just watched the whole fight. Absolutely a bogus stoppage.

Good fight up to that point. Groves was definitely starting to fade in the championship rounds, but man - what a shot in the first.

Sucks a good fight had to get ruined.

I definitely think Groves deserves a rematch, but I think Froch wins it if it happens.

There's just no real interesting match-ups left for Ward at 168, so in a way I guess I was saying "why not"

Good showing by Groves. Strange stoppage, certainly felt a bit premature. I think Groves proved a few things tonight. As for Froch, well, he only reaffirmed that he is a tough SOB and can be dismantled by a good boxer. Froch ought to stay far away from Andre Ward if he doesn't want to get schooled again.

Announcer Jim Watt pointed out Groves was up 76 75 on two
scorecards at the stoppage He was disgusted. It's obvious the
fight was fixed by the judges and the ref. In fact when Froch got
up from the knockdown he reeled backwards should of stopped it there.
