Everyone knew this was a crap card headlined by two losers and now Roach solidified it for me.

The article does not refer to the level of opponent, but to Roach stating that Pacquiao is fighting nothing more than a journeyman on a 60 dollar pay-per-view. Mayweather knows how to sell his opponents and his cards, whereas Roach always plays down their opposition to the point where you wonder "why should I spend 60 dollars to watch Pacquiao stop a journeyman in four rounds."

With Mayweather we had a decent undercard to both shows so even though Floyd was a heavy, heavy favorite people bought the PPV for the overall event. This undercard for this show is horrific. I can't even believe Verdejo, Shiming, Ruiz facing stiffs is part of the card with so many other fighters under Top Rank's stable who could have been on this show in competitive fights. The best fight next to the main event is Dib-Gradovich, which tells you everything you need to know.

That's true! TR's taking advantage of Pac's star power, for boxing fans the undercard is terrible but also makes sense for marketing because they are doing this in asia. Since it is Rio/Pac, I am sold! I know one of these guys is getting hurt, big time.

No Roach you were a journeyman at best. Rios ,although not P4P level, has made himself a name and a known fighter. He has built himself a fan base and will be remembered when he is retired.

these are mind games camps play before the fight. they know rios can be dangerous. they are trying to get under his skin. you can tell its working because of rios reaction the last few weeks.
