Pac may win, but Rios is no journeyman.

Mayweather knows how to sell his opponents and his cards, whereas Roach always plays down their opposition to the point where you wonder "why should I spend 60 dollars to watch Pacquiao stop a journeyman in four rounds."

With Mayweather we had a decent undercard to both shows so even though Floyd was a heavy, heavy favorite people bought the PPV for the overall event. This undercard for this show is horrific. I can't even believe Verdejo, Shiming, Ruiz facing stiffs is part of the card with so many other fighters under Top Rank's stable who could have been on this show in competitive fights. The best fight next to the main event is Dib-Gradovich, which tells you everything you need to know.
      Well said...!

these are mind games camps play before the fight. they know rios can be dangerous. they are trying to get under his skin. you can tell its working because of rios reaction the last few weeks.

Is that really worse then calling a guy who became a champion by beating Matthew Hatton, fought 40 cab drivers and then fought one decent guy in Trout- "The One?". Canelo beat Trout and then got a Mayweather, he beat one top 10 guy and then fought May.

How much worse is Fighting a "journeyman" on PPV then fighting a literal "hype job" on PPV?

Rios was as much as a champion as "3 division champ" Robert "Mr.interim champion" Guerrero and Canelo

What's the difference? Besides the fact that Manny is coming off of a KNOCKOUT loss
You got sum valid points there king.

No not at all. P4P Trout is a better boxer than Alvarado for me.
