Is that really worse then calling a guy who became a champion by beating Matthew Hatton, fought 40 cab drivers and then fought one decent guy in Trout- "The One?". Canelo beat Trout and then got a Mayweather, he beat one top 10 guy and then fought May.

How much worse is Fighting a "journeyman" on PPV then fighting a literal "hype job" on PPV?

Rios was as much as a champion as "3 division champ" Robert "Mr.interim champion" Guerrero and Canelo

What's the difference? Besides the fact that Manny is coming off of a KNOCKOUT loss
I don't think Canelo is a hypejob at all. Dropping and Beating Trout proved he wasn't one. Just because he lost to Mayweather doesn't make him or anyone else hybejobs either.

I've no problem with Manny/Rios. If the undercard was a bit better I probably would've bought this. It's a good fight for Manny off of such a difficult fight.

I see no reason to pick sides here.

Did I say he was a A fighter no. If you really think he won't be remembered then you must be crazy. He is the kind of fighter who will be remembered for his fun and action packed fights.

I'm not picking sides at all? I'm the one saying be consistent and if you criticize this fight for Manny, surely you must criticize the last few Floyd PPVs as well.

And Canelo isn't a hype job because he lost to Floyd. He's a hype job because that's the reason he got a a Floyd fight in the first place.

You can enjoy different fights for different types of reasons you know, and for what its worth the guerrero ppv was crap.

Canelo earned the fight because it was a fight between two top junior middleweights. All over twitter people were saying Mayweather was going to duck the fight and then it gets signed. It was a big fight that people wanted.

I dont know why youre so against fights between champs and top contenders. thats the way fights should be made.

I did read the title and the article. What is Roach saying that's false? What are they reporting that's false?

Canelo isn't an A fighter. There are probably only like 3 or 4 A level fighters in boxing, though.

He isn't, Rios is a former world champion. Roach is being untruthful and needlessly disrespectful.
