I agree. Maybe there is just some things going on behind the scenes on Furys part. Hopefully the fight gets made

yea,,,the thread starter really should have worded the title differently. I didnt read anything in that article that stated team fury turned down the offer. they just havent responded yet. anyway,,,,if they do turn down a reasonable offer, fury will look like a wuss. you dont call someone out and the punk out. he'll look like an as$

Why y'all tripping about him saying 50-50? Did yall ever negotiate?

Schaefer told them to make an offer and Hennessy didnt have an answer so he threw something out there. Hell, if it was me I would've said 70-30 in my favor. And if he didn't like it then work from there.

If you don't have an offer or a price people are gonna start the lowest possible.

yea,,people are really jumping the gun here. its not like they came up with that figure after weeks of negotiating. its only just begun. we still have time here before we have to get all pissed off and play the blame game

I've no problem with a cheeky opening offer, just the idea that fury must be scarred because Scheafer hasnt heard from Hennessy after two freaking days. Thats ******.

What is Richard on about all the revenue for this fight will come from the UK, so wilder doesn't deserve 50/50, plus I don't think this is big enough for pay per view, even though i'd still buy it the casual viewer wouldn't....unlike Haye vs Fury, so the guy trying to make out this is just as big as Haye Fury is all wrong, but I do want to see this fight so hope it happens either way.

GBP is just blowing hot air. they are in contact with "several" potential opponents...they will take the fight which makes most sense moving fury forward & what fight generates the most money. they have options & we will know in a week or 2...

Wauw. Team Wilder is grossly overestimating their worth.

I'm glad you *******s don't negotiate contracts for fighters. Really I hope nobody ever hires you to negotiate **** on their behalf.

You offer 60/40 up front you end up with 70/30 or worse. One side starts high, the other side status low and you find common ground in the middle. I thought this was common sense?
