You offer 60/40 up front you end up with 70/30 or worse. One side starts high, the other side status low and you find common ground in the middle. I thought this was common sense?
This applies to pretty much any type of negotiation really. I ain't no expert but yea.

Schaefer told them to make an offer and Hennessy didnt have an answer so he threw something out there. Hell, if it was me I would've said 70-30 in my favor. And if he didn't like it then work from there.

If you don't have an offer or a price people are gonna start the lowest possible.

I've no problem with a cheeky opening offer, just the idea that fury must be scarred because Scheafer hasnt heard from Hennessy after two freaking days. Thats ******.
You know people are quick to talk **** man. Fury said he's down so if anyone is "scared" (and notice I used quotations) is the promoter. If they keep negotiating and there's a fair offer and the fight still doesn't happen then we can speculate some more.

          Picked it up again..

Nobody that would come to or buy Haye/Fury wouldn't do the same with Fury-Wilder?

What kind of drug is this guy on? I'd like me some of that.

Your post doesn't even deserve an answer but did you know that Wlad cut Wilder to pieces during their sparring?

We don't know what Wilder is about yet but he doesn't want to step up for the moment, and you consider him as being #1 ? Quite original I must say!

That big bum Fury would get blown away by Wilder. His team know this. He was floored by Cunningham FFS!

He wants no piece of my boy Deontay.

Why wouldn't Hennessey make a counter offer?

don't get your hopes up too high yet. wilder has shown the same vulnerability with even lesser fighters. Im hoping the hell wilder wins becuz I cant stand fury's big disrespectful mouth but I have my doubts. fury has shown to recover well and has pretty good stamina. we don't know this about wilder yet. I still lean towards wilder starching fury with that crushing right hand early but if fury survives early and shows the same resolve as in his other fights there's going to be problems becuz wilder is not used to it

Wilder hasnt been forced to dig deep. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. He may well have good stamina, good recovery. He's never been tested as his power is game changing.

Wladimir's a rapidly aging and deteriorating coward who holds on to his opponents for dear life.

Deontay is a powerful, young and hungry warrior getting better with every fight.

During his last couple of years before retirement, Wladimir will carefully handpick his tomato opponents whose fighting styles suit him, avoiding the forbidden fruit that is Deontay Wilder.
