A fight that would have grossed hundreds of millions of dollars in ppv revenue alone, and Pacquiao - a proven and comparable draw to Mayweather - wouldn't have made a single cent out of it.

If you're incapable of understanding why that offer was so ridiculous, why it was nowhere near comparable to Mayweather and Kovalev ( @ this comparison) being low balled by De La Hoya and Warren respectively, there really is no helping you. Seems years of regularly deep throating Floyd has impaired your ability to think with reason and logic.
Apparently I didn't make myself clear-I dn't give a **** if Manny doesn't get a single cent from he ppv revenue or if he is lowballed.

Everytime Manny generated sales in excess of 1 million and he had the bulk of the ppv revenue he never made more than $28 mil. Not when he fought ODH, not cotto, not Mosley, not JMM. NEVER!!!!!!

SO instead of giving him a percentage of the ppv revenue floyd offered him a flat fee. That flat fee will EXCEED THE MONEY HE MADE SELLING 1.5 MIL PPV'S, BY 42%. Is the offer ridiculous-YES. Its also $10 mil more than Manny is projected to make in his upcoming fight where he has the bulk of the ppv revenue.

SImple choice-fight floyd for $40 mil, no ppv while he makes roughly $125-150 mil or fight Rios for $18 mil plus the bulk of the ppv while Rios makes about $4 mil. He took the easy win for short money-nothing you post changes that.

I'm curious-which would you have taken?

If manny wants to make more money-fire ARum and get a new attorney/manager/adviser who helps you craft a deal so you get the kind of money ODH and Floyd make. If you keep ARum you'll continue to make 1/2 or 1/3 of wha ODH and Floyd made after they left.

If you could justify the above without insulting me you would. Its also funny that a poster with 136 posts knows what another poster has been doing for years. Clearly your an alt of someone banned. I only hope the mods see this and address you.

Go **** yourself and when you're done, think long and hard to find a rational way to justify choosing $30 mil over $40 mil other than ego and not wanting to lose.

Everybody has their own taste in "Art".. but wow, that sugar ray robinson art is ridiculously hideous, same with ANY of Andy Warhol's art. Just ridiculous. It is pretty much the brand name that sells everybody, I love art so when I see stuff like that it's just..

      • Neither side will try to make the fight next and is probably the least interested in reviving Mannys career

It signifies that robinson was king in a largely black and white time. especially when the black murderers row were being largely blocked out. I think it's cool

The beauty about art in itself is it's always up for interpretation, not everyone likes every piece.

STop the bull**** coldcashcanelo. When manny turns the fight down, thats not floyd refusing to fight. Thats like saying Canelo is responsible for the CW because he said we can fight at 150.

There is NOTHING you can say that justifies Manny refusing the $40 mil no ppv offer to make a fight that pays him $10 mil less. His ego won't let him sign for a fight where floyd make 3-4 times as much as him to fight.

Like I told alt don duva, if Manny hadn't refused the 50/50 offer over ped tesing and cutoff dates we wouldn't be here.

He kept waiting assuming his negotiating position would improve. It didn't. Get over it and deal with the consequences of your decision like any man does.
