I think Marquez-Pacquiao 5 is a more entertaining fight that is also more likely to happen. Should have VADA tests of course.

Arum is old and he just as much as anyone wants to see the fight happen. I do feel that he genuinely wants to make the fight happen. The man doesn't have much time left on this planet. We can at least believe him when it comes to this.

This time Floyd needs Manny -- Floyd doesn't have another opponent to help him sell big for the rest of his contract. Except for Bradley I guess...

Pacquaio refused the testing -- it wasn't about the 'brand'. Originally he refused testing completely. Then later, he began to compromise by requesting cut-off dates, which Mayweather did not want. And when Mayweather tried to compromise with 14-days, that was rejected by Pacquaio. Mayweather didn't even have to compromise, he could have just said NO, go to hell.

The very fact that Team Mayweather made an attempt to compromise also hurts your point in saying that they could have been bluffing. You can argue that Team Mayweather would have killed the fight through other means though (but it's not likely) since even the money (50/50) was agreed upon. And the money usually is the number one deal breaker.

Berto wasn't caught three months before the fight. Peterson was caught very early though.

Bare facts: the Rios fight is the first fight for which Manny actually took random drug tests ever. Period.

Fighters are never scared of defensive, boring boxers. They're scared of the Tysons, the Golovkins, the Pacquiao's...

I'll always like the Tysons, the Golovkins, the Pacquiao's ... the Stevensons and the Kovalevs...

But I'll always like the Rigos, the Mayweathers, and even the Wards... also...

They are different breeds...
