We (not all of us, but the population in general) love a hard luck story in the UK. Most would rather have a gallant loser to cheer than an actual winner.

What happened was the best thing for Groves' career, he would very likely have lost the fight but instead he's seen as a martyr that was robbed of certain victory by a bad decision. He'll make more money now than if Froch had completed that 9th round beat down and stopped him.

Even tho he looked to be on his way to getting stopped??Although I agree,what happened was better for Groves then for Froch..

I voted here for a Froch win by KO/TKO.
I didn't vote for Froch being "about to stop Groves".... or for Froch "on the verge of stopping Groves", etc...
Actually, Froch didn't stop Groves. The ref did it -- by mistake, by whatever...

If that was Del Boy in Groves place and the ref did that to him, he would beat the living crap out the ref and then Don Charles would jump in to throw in some extra blows, no boxer would be content with a stoppage like that

First off,everything is opinion based..You posting a bunch of opinions that may mirror your own is pointless..Not saying their opinions are pointless..This is a subjective sport where everyone has an opinion..Posting a bunch of opinions instead of just talking about your own,is not only pointless..It's also cowardly,hope this clears it up for you..When your ready to discuss the fight,I'm here..If your going to try to use others opinion as some kinda proof that it makes them right(because their in the minority,lol)spear me..It's lame..
