Sorry counselor, you be dead wrong. The propensity of the law puts much more emphasis on who initiated the physical contact, not who looked like they were going to DO something. Good luck with the case.Comment

Yes.
Show up to work on time, and you're less likely to screw up other people's schedules.
The camera crew who were interviewing Garcia, I guarantee you they showed up on time and were most likely scheduled to finish their interview before 11:00 am. But, one team shows up late and it affects every body else.
I get the feeling you are the type who shows up late to work or school or to appointments. If I'm right and you are that late type who has no respect for other people's time and are consistently late, you should look at the Roach/Ariza incident as the kind of consequences that can result whenever you people show up late and screw with everyone else.Comment

Mr. Micklewhite, you're far too upset about all this. You've made assertions about the LAW as if you know of what you speak. This offense took place on Chinese soil and that leads me to believe that Chinese law comes into play.Comment

Self defence Law is basically the same everywhere and you don't have to wait to be hit to defend yourself against a threat. I know this because I've done this.
You don't have to be a lawyer to know your basic rights, go look them up because you don't know yours.Last edited by Jam Jars; 11-21-2013, 01:02 AM.Comment

But unlike the Zimmerman-Martin case, this incident was on video. I honestly think that in a judge's eyes it would be more to do with who struck the first blow thereby escalating the fracas.Laugh all you want but thats a huge reason why the Trayvon Martin case ended the way it did.
Either party could not come up with who started the altercation but the DEA tried its chance to prosecute but couldnt produce anything that impressed the jurors enough to find Zimmerman guilty so they let him walk.
We may never know who struck who first but that was the case right there and that information was never put out there in a way that the jurors would feel that Zimmerman was the aggressor.Comment
