Ward will want A-Side props and money but GGG will make a strong case that other than the 168 strap and #2 P4P claim GGG brings in everything else. And he might be right.
This is a pretty damn good point!

Sometimes it's more annoying for a fighter who is considered a top guy, who has fought the best, just won a tournament, is a champion, and P4P one of the best to then be called a ducker of a guy who JUST started making a name for himself in the general public.

Ward has fought and beaten top guys over the past few years, Golovkin KO's Macklin and all of a sudden GGG is THE MAN to beat? That has to frustrate Ward and his team to hear fans and the media call him a ducker and talk as if he hasn't accomplished anything until he fights the Macklin conquerer. Especially since it isn't always the fighters who get the only decision to make a fight. Fighters are normally passive about "who is next" because they are told to be UNLESS they are not at a high level and simply seeking a payday.

This is how it typically goes in boxing. You beat one guy, and there is always another fighter there. If Ward beats GGG, you can bet there will be another fighter there waiting for him.
When you're king of the ring, people will always try to take your crown.

really? so the fact that he waited longer to turn pro and get more experience fighting inexperienced guys, thats the same as fighting world class competition? or is turning pro younger and fighting world class opposition like froch, kessler, dawson, etc not important? who has golovkin fought that has even given him a challenge or made him fight a certain way that showed he can adjust?? no one, all of his opponents have been selected to make him look good. your a new fan so shut your mouth.

I suspect all the "ducker" talk comes from this new breed of boxing fan tha has no clue what actual ducking is. And that's because their introduction into boxing was Floyd-Pac, which was far from ducking. Rid**** Bowe ducked Lennox Lewis. Hatton ducked Junior Witter. For a long time, DLH ducked Vargas. Prince Naseem ducked JMM. Those are cases of ducking. Nothing that's happen recent even remotely resembles any of those.

Even though I don't care for Ward's "entitled" attitude and his dirty fighting style I must say that he is being smart in his negotiating/antagonizing. He wants GGG to call him out like Dawson did so that he can set all the terms again and get all the advantages. Ward will claim it has to be at 168 since GGG called him out. He will claim he is the draw and deserves more money since he is the one being sought out. And he will most likely get a huge ring again, glove size and whatever else he wants once GGG calls him out. While I don't agree or like him doing his "diva" tactics, I at least recognize it from a business aspect and respect that.

                This isn't what we want.

We want Ward Vs. Hopkins and Golovkin Vs. Martinez.

I agree, the fruit isn't ripe for picking yet. Casual fans are just discovering GGG and Ward isn't a big enough name to carry it either. It's a year too early but the time is definitely coming. I personally don't think Golovkin has a hope in hell against Ward but if you guys want to see this, wait till it makes business sense for them to do it.
