bernard duune, lol? that's quite a reference. i can't remember a single fight he was in other than the war with cordoba, and his next fight where he looked all done.
strange career, looking at the resume.Comment

And you're an alt I take it? An ignorant one at that. One of these many MW contenders that ducked him should have just called his bluff. But why didn't they?really? so the fact that he waited longer to turn pro and get more experience fighting inexperienced guys, thats the same as fighting world class competition? or is turning pro younger and fighting world class opposition like froch, kessler, dawson, etc not important? who has golovkin fought that has even given him a challenge or made him fight a certain way that showed he can adjust?? no one, all of his opponents have been selected to make him look good. your a new fan so shut your mouth.Comment

If Ward is wanting to dictate the terms. Wouldn't it make more sense for him to want the fighter sooner rather than later? GGG is already generating better numbers than Ward. GGG filled the theater at MSG against a no-hoper where Ward has trouble selling out arenas in his hometown. And this doesn't figure to change. If anything, GGG's starpower will be dwarfing Ward's very soon. The only thing Ward has on GGG is accomplishments. And you let GGG go out and take Martinez apart and crash the P4P list and the accomplishment gap closes. So purely from a negotiating standpoint, Ward should jump on GGG ASAP.Even though I don't care for Ward's "entitled" attitude and his dirty fighting style I must say that he is being smart in his negotiating/antagonizing. He wants GGG to call him out like Dawson did so that he can set all the terms again and get all the advantages. Ward will claim it has to be at 168 since GGG called him out. He will claim he is the draw and deserves more money since he is the one being sought out. And he will most likely get a huge ring again, glove size and whatever else he wants once GGG calls him out. While I don't agree or like him doing his "diva" tactics, I at least recognize it from a business aspect and respect that.Comment

Provodnikov!!!!Sorry, but the truth is the truth. DOn't get mad when I point it out. HBO stop protecting GGG-lets see if he really is top 5 p4p as Lampley said.
I'm just waiting for ward to end the hype the way danny put a stop to posters like you salivating over Matts.
So which bandwagon you plan on jumping on next?Comment

Let them first headline their respective ppv before you make that assumption. Here's the condundrum for Ward. If and when that fight is financially viable as a PPV money maker. Me thinks GGG will be the A side in terms of bringing in more eye balls and PPV buys. That's going to be a contentious negotiation if/when it happens. Ward will want A-Side props and money but GGG will make a strong case that other than the 168 strap and #2 P4P claim GGG brings in everything else. And he might be right.Comment
