Comments Thread For: Haye Advised To Retire After Surgery, Fury Fight Off

It's unfortunate because I believe he would have destroyed Fury.
I noticed fighters who do a lot of weight lifting get frequently injured : Haye, Pascal, Berto, Mosley. Moral of the story, put down the weights or don't go crazy with it.Comment

Only an idiot who buy everything that Team Hayemaker is selling.Comment

As for the weights, it is a real problem, it can seriously damage muscle for any of us who do it without a hell of a lot of boxing train. Professional boxers are constantly in the gym, going through the paces with heavy bags, workin on the pads and of course the sparring.
All boxers need to do weights but it should never go beyond the basics but guys like Haye, to have that physique must have been on it for too long.Comment

been saying this for years. body builders & muscular guys are injury prone. they are always pulling, straining or tearing something. not just in boxing but all sports...Comment

When someone backs out of a fight citing a back injury, I'd like to get confirmation from the opposition camp that a note has been produced.
I'll leave it at that.Comment

Absolute grade A ****house!
Second time he has pulled out, once against Charr, some other bum, Wladimir at least once, Vitali twice.
David ''Excuse maker'' Haye is a diva, an actor. I don't care if his injury is legit, it might be though I don't think its as bad as its being portrayed, its the guys history of pulling out of fights etc.
How can anybody support this guy?
Its funny because Tyson Fury even predicted it.
David Haye is a conman who takes his die-hard fans for what they truly are. He is a wannabe. Give it a few months & the smug pr1ck will be on some naff reality TV show going on like hes some Hollywood movie star with no signs of an injured shoulder damaged to the extent it had to warrant retirement.Comment
